Catch one of the country’s hottest blues bands live at Fougou Music. UK Blues Award winners The Terraplanes Blues Band bring their authentic, hard hitting brand of blues and R’n’B, with a sound echoing the 1960’s British R’n’B bands, to Torbay. As the band headed into 2023, their calender filled up quickly with appearances at some of England’s best known blues clubs and Festivals, sharing the bill with the best talent the blues world has to offer. Starting with a return to Butlins, Skegness, they played at The Great British Rock & Blues Festival in January, the band enjoyed one of their greatest gigs with a packed festival crowd really feeding off the band’s energy to make their slot one of the best atmosphere’s across the whole weekend!  Recent live radio sessions have also seen the band gain more exposure and fans of authentic blues, played with such confidence and style. As they began their first full tour in April 2023, the band were nominated and eventually won the UK Blues Award as the EMERGING ACT OF THE YEAR for 2023 which has cemented The Terraplanes as a real force on the British blues scene.

The debut album Stepping Stones hit #14 for the whole of 2022 for radio plays on the IBBA Blues Chart. Sitting comfortably in the top 20 artists of the year has now allowed the band to fulfill their original ambition…to play on the big stages in the biggest events in the world of Rhythm & Blues!

Formed in 2013 as a duo, Nick and Eduardo expanded the band to a 4 piece in 2014. Their reputation as a formidable live act steadily grew. In 2020, under the wing of MAS records, a scheme with patrons like Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant, the band gained mentorship and guidance in helping them achieve their goals. The Terraplanes have been on the rise ever since.
