He has performed with world renowned artists such as Masa Kamaguchi, Albert Bover, Marc Michel, Michael League, Snarky Puppy, Lee-Scratch Perry, Roots Manuva, Yotam Silverstein, Juan ‘Cotito’ Medrano, Juan Daniel Pastor, Bill McHenry, Joe McPhee, Chris Corsano, Liam Nobel, Calum Gourlay, Corrie Dick, Felix Rossy, Carles Benavent, Carlos Falanga, Gran Ensemble del Liceu, Toni Vaquer, Bill Evans, Randy Brecker, Paolo Fresu, Philip Cardwell, Doug Hough, Pete Johnstone, Brodie Jarvie, Ken Ychicawa, Giuseppe Campisi, Joan Casares and many more.
He studied music as an undergraduate at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow, where he studied with Tommy Smith and Julian Arguelles. He also has a master’s degree in jazz performance and modern music from the Liceu Conservatory of Music in Barcelona, Spain, where he studied with American saxophonist Bill McHenry.
“…An excellent improvising musician, with a very natural gift and who plays with an emotion and intensity that few musicians possess. He has tremendous potential as a jazz musician and composer…” Dr.Tommy Smith.
