Jesse Molins is a fine local guitar player with strong jazz credentials, who has performed and recorded with Mike Westbrooks Uncommon Orchestra and Kate Westbrook’s Granite Band. He has performed with Alan Barnes, Bruce Adams and Gordon Campbell and has played as part of the Dave Hankin Big Band. Tonight he is supported by Kevin Sanders on double bass.
They will be playing a mixture of jazz standards from the great American songbook.  Plenty of Jazz, Swing, Blues, Ballads and Latin tunes from two of the Southwest’s finest Jazz musicians.  Tickets £8 adv. £10 door

Born in South America and raised in Sweden, Annika is a highly celebrated multilingual jazz vocalist and song writer with a natural talent who lives in Devon, She brings a special blend of Scandinavian charm and Latin flavour to her performances and is a firm favourite on the jazz scene in the South West. For this event she is backed by popular jazz guitarist Neil Burns and Jim Rintoul on double bass. Tickets £8 adv. £10 door

Alex Hart. Thursday 25 May 7.30pm

Devon born singer/songwriter Alex Hart is proving to be an important addition to the UK’s current crop of classy country and roots artists. After a run of high-profile festivals performances she landed record deals in the US and UK. She worked with Grammy Award winning songwriter and producer Terry Britten and went on to release her critically acclaimed debut album “On this Day”. She caught the eye of legendary Jethro Tull guitarist Martin Barre, who asked Alex to join them for their world tour. Alex also collaborates and performs with the critically acclaimed Devon born folk singer Seth Lakeman. Tickets £8 adv. £10 door

Very probably one of the Southwest’s busiest and most popular saxophonist. With his band he has worked with Jim Mullen, Roy Williams, Derek Nash, Dick Pearce, Bruce Adams, Digby Fairweather and the highly acclaimed Peter King to name but a few.  Tonight Martin is joined by the excellent guitarist Steve Dow.
